In high Perfection stands at my Plantation near Swan's Point, and will cover Mares at four Dollars the leap, and ten Dollars the Season. Good Pasturage gratis, but will not be answerable for any that may be missing. PARTNER is so well known, it is needless to mention his pedigree.

About this entry:
Partner and his children received much attention in the Gazette in the 1760's and 70's. He may have been Littlebury Hardyman's horse that won a race in Williamsburg in 1768. Partner was advertised for sale with a number of full blooded horses by Hardyman's executors in 1771 and described as "remarkable for his Speed and Bottom".
