About this entry:
Boyd was back by 1773 when he advertised for a bay horse that strayed from Mr. Pasteur's pasture in Williamsburg. He was an independent merchant and planter of Scottich descent who served as a justice of the Meckenlenburg County court in 1792. He was licensed to keep an ordinary in 1795 and died in 1801.
