| Description | Porto Bello, the 18th century farmhouse retreat once owned by Virginia's last Royal Governor Lord Dunmore, is located just inside Camp Peary, the CIA base and is not accessible to the public despite its entry in the National Register of Historic Places. Renovations begun in 2011 are in progress, most probably for a spy museum comparable to the CIA Museum at Langley AFB, also closed to the public.
