Issue Volume 36, Number 01, (CWJ, Winter 2014)
Description 1) The George Wythe House, first Williamsburg structure for which John D. Rockefeller Jr. provided restoration funds, has as many as 800 visitors daily. An endowment from Alan and Janet Coleman of Greenbrae, CA helps ensure the Wythe House's preservation and interpretation. 2) CWF tradesmen will reconstruct the Market House by 1915 after a long period of archaeological research to determine the original structure's form and function. 3) Blacksmithing and tinsmithing interships at the James Anderson Blacksith Shop and Public Armoury now have a dedicated source of funding, an endowment from Ken and Bonnie Shockey of Greencastle, PA.
