Description Historic Foodways has been interpreting the stories of those who prepared food for American Colonists and their methods for 35 years. The interpreters have interacted with thousands of guests, but one of the most memorable was Fred Rogers, creator of Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood. During his visit he not only took a carriage ride and wore a tricorn hat, but also stopped to visit the Palace Kitchens.
