Comte de Rochambeau letter(1782 June 2)

Letter of the Comte de Rochambeau written to an unnamed recipient from Williamsburg, Virginia and dated June 2, 1782. Rochambeau writes that he has ordered the relocation of the Legion de Lauzun to Petersburg where there is sufficient pasturage for the Legion’s horses. He requests the recipient send an American quartermaster to Petersburg to assist the Legion.
