Discusses the taking of lead casings from the window of John Page (1744–1808) of Rosewell in Gloucester County. In all, 1,297 pounds of lead were removed and melted down for the country’s use.

William Harwood (1768–1794) was the son of Humphrey Harwood of Williamsburg, Virginia.
