Jacob Henderson to David Humphreys, 24 October 1732

p1

Maryland Octob:r 24:th 1732

Rev:d Doctor

Since my last by the Rev:d M:r Tustian, one
M:r Robert Gordon has purchased about half an Acre out
of the Land that Bordley Claims, and takes his Chance for the
Title, so good, does he think Gov:r. Nicholsons Right, I have
therefore Transmitted a Deed to be Executed by M:r Eyre, w:ch hope
will be done accordingly, if the remainder can be sold so well,
I shall be able to make up three hundred pound sterl to the—
Hon:ble Society, for their Intrest here, w:ch I make no manner
of doubt of, if M:r Eyre sends an Authentick Probat of the
will from the High Court of Chancery as directed in my last

Not haveing reced any Acc:ts from you since I had the
Power of Attorney and haveing said Every thing Necessary in
my former letters, I make bold to present my profound respect
and regard for the venerable society and am Rev:d Doctor

Yr most obed:t Humble servt

Jacob Henderson

The Bearer M:r Brown will
if necessary, take some pains to
get the Deed Confirmed, and be
an Evidence to prove it here
